Welcome to “Pandoo – Bangla Learning is Fun,” an innovative mobile application developed and published by mPower Social Enterprises Ltd. in collaboration with Tinkers Technologies Ltd. (collectively referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). We value your trust and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your information when you use our app.By using “Pandoo – Bangla Learning is Fun,” you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue using our application.

“Pandoo – Bangla Learning is Fun” is designed to help learners of all ages engage with the Bangla language through interactive lessons and games. We have developed a unique curriculum that tailors content to your demographic and interests to maximize your learning experience. We offer two types of experiences within the app:

- Free Version (Ad-Supported) – Provided at no cost, supported by ads displayed through Google AdMob.

- Paid Subscription Versions – Monthly, half-yearly, and yearly subscriptions unlocked through Google Pay (for Android) or Apple Pay (for iOS).

2. Acceptance of the Privacy Policy

By downloading, installing, or using our app, you accept the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any portion of this policy, you must cease using the app and remove it from your device(s).

3. Information Collection and Usage

We collect certain information from you to provide and improve our services. This information may be provided directly by you or automatically collected when you use our app.

3.1 Personal Information

- Name and Email Address
: Collected to create and manage your account, communicate important updates, and personalize your experience.

- Date of Birth: Used to send you special greetings on your birthday and unlock birthday-specific achievements or content.

- City: Helps us tailor region-specific celebrations, festivals, or other localized content.

- Phone Number: Serves as a secondary verification method and helps us verify that each account is associated with a real user.

Explanation: We may collect personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name and email address. We use this data primarily to provide and enhance the service you receive.

While creating a user account, we also collect the Date of Birth, City, and Phone Number.

The date of Birth is collected to specially wish the user on his/her birthday. This allows us to make their experience more personalized. The user gets special greetings notifications on birthdays. Also, the user gets special stages and achievements to play. 

The city is collected to understand the demography of the people learning Bangla. This also allows us to provide personalized greetings and content for any celebration or events specific to that city.  For example, users from Dhaka will get exceptional content for Sakrain, while someone from Sydney will get content for The Australian Heritage Festival. Understanding user demography is crucial for us to develop a better curriculum for content that is more localized and personalized. 

We collect the Phone Number as an extra layer of verification after the Name and Email address. 

3.2 Third-Party Services

We integrate various third-party services and libraries to enhance our functionality and analytics:

- Google Play Services

- Google Analytics for Firebase

- Firebase Crashlytics

These services may collect data such as device identifiers, usage statistics, and crash reports. Each of these third parties handles and protects your data according to their own privacy policies.

Whenever you interact with our app, we may collect Log Data to troubleshoot performance issues and improve our service. This data could include:

Measure the effectiveness of ads and monitor fraud or abuse.

Interest-Based Advertising:

AdMob may use your data to show you personalized (interest-based) ads. If you prefer not to see personalized ads, you can typically opt out within your device settings (for instance, by resetting your advertising ID on Android or enabling the “Limit Ad Tracking” option on iOS). Keep in mind that even if you opt out of personalized ads, you will still see general ads that may not be as relevant to you. 7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

We offer monthly, half-yearly, and yearly subscription plans. Users can unlock additional features, lessons, and premium content within the app through:

- Google Pay (for Android devices)

- Apple Pay (for iOS devices)

7.1 Payment Processing

All subscription and in-app purchase payments are processed securely through Google Play Store or Apple App Store billing. We do NOT directly access or store any sensitive payment details (such as credit card numbers). Instead, we rely on Google and Apple’s secure payment infrastructure.

7.2 Subscription Management

- Auto-Renewals
: Subscriptions are set to automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you disable auto-renew in your account settings for Google Play or Apple App Store.

- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the respective platform’s subscription settings. After cancellation, you will continue to have access to subscription benefits until the current billing period ends.

7.3 Data Collected for Subscriptions

- Transaction ID and Purchase History
: We may collect and store an identifier for your subscription or purchase, as well as basic information about its status (e.g., “active,” “expired,” etc.).
